Established in 1989, it was formerly named Valmet Instrumentation. Valmet was the service factory in Asia Pacific for Norway’s Damatic Integrated Bridge Control System. Valmet was the sales and service agent for Valmarine AS until the latter was acquired by L3 communications.
After a regroup with Technics Oil & Gas Limited (a stock exchange company in Singapore) in year 2005, the name NORR SYSTEMS is adopted. Norr Systems which means “North Systems” in English retains its company’s former Norwegian heritage.
Good experience and good quality engineering services accumulated from early days of vessel systems repair, offshore systems support to skilled engineer supply, led to the possibility to go into manufacturing and complete systems integration. |
