Our Emergency Shut Down System (ESD) works hand in hand with the DCS system which also sits on the SIEMENS S7 platform. NORR SYSTEMS ESD system is designed based upon the required Safety Integrity level required for the application. The ESD System and the ESD Valves, works hand-in-hand with Fire and Gas Detection System. Together, they manage the cause and effect of the whole vessel. They form part of the key important safety network for the vessel.
